There were some humourous references to my Blue Period when I was back in Scotland and it was my creative accomplice Dylan Lisle I believe who came up with the concept. I never take anything he says too seriously but it appears he may have had a point! This is a large 1.25metre drawing in Spray can and a very intense blue pastel and I think the blue has a very seductive quality. Not finished yet, it needs a bit of perfecting, but I think more of this blueness is called for.

Blue is a beautiful colour...the colour of intelligence. In ancient Greece and Egypt people used Indigo to dye textiles. The Brits,especially the Scots, painted their faces with indigo before going to war. May be you can feel your ancestry Miss Mcarthur!!
